The Global Sustainability Engineering course offered by Heriot-Watt University is designed for students with a keen interest in sustainability and its functions in various industries. The course administers the knowledge and skills required to handle operational challenges related to sustainability and allows students to critically analyze and design solutions for global sustainability issues. Course Content: Alongside the confluence of business, entrepreneurship and sustainability, the program is built on three key areas: Engineering Sustainability, where students will understand the need to minimize environmental impact in engineering; Entrepreneurship and Project Management, equipping students with project management and entrepreneurship skills; and Business and Economic Sustainability, where students will analyze the basic principles of economics, and understand the environmental implications of business practices.
