The Human Nutrition with Placement Year course offered by Ulster University is a four-year programme that develops a multi-disciplinary knowledge on how diet affects the health of humans. It aims to provide students with a deep understanding in nutritional science while emphasising on the role nutrition plays in maintaining good health.Course Content: This course provides the students with an opportunity to learn the principles of nutrition, physiological and biochemical processes, nutrient requirements and their impact on health, and the development of nutritional science. Alongside theoretical knowledge, practical sessions are also integrated into the course to provide students with valuable laboratory-based experience.
