The Biology with Optional Placement Year course at Ulster University offers a broad understanding of the biological sciences. At level 4, it includes modules like Cell Biology, Diversity of Life, Fundamentals of Biochemistry, and Skills for Biosciences. Level 5 includes modules like Environmental Biology & Geography, Food & Industrial Microbiology, Human Physiology, and more. Level 6 introduces modules such as Biology Research Project, Bioremediation, Parasitology, Plant Biotechnology, and more. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology for the purpose of meeting the educational requirements of Chartered Biologist (CBiol).
