Ulster University offers a Bachelor of Engineering Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. This course offers an opportunity to study a range of subjects including design, energy, mechanics, and manufacturing, mixed with modules in management and computer applications. Course Content: This robust program covers the design and analysis of mechanical systems, material properties and selection, manufacturing processes, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and control systems. It also offers the opportunity to develop computer-aided design skills and learn about project management. Key Modules: The course modules include Mechanics and Material Properties, Energy Studies, Manufacturing Systems, Engineering Systems, Process Control Systems, and Engineering Design. The program also offers a work placement year that can be taken between the second and final year. Accreditations: The course has been accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purpose of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
