MEng (Hons) Mechatronics and Robotics

The Mechatronics BEng degree at De Montfort University is a specialist undergraduate course that combines the principles of mechanics, electronics, and computing to generate simpler, more economical and reliable systems. The course is designed to equip students with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, computing and control engineering which makes them highly sought after in the industrial sector.Course Content: The course curriculum is designed in a way that students gain a robust understanding of core concepts of mechanics, electronics, and computing right from the basic level. The first year modules focus on fundamentals of engineering whereas the second year introduces the students to more specific concepts like control systems, computer-aided design, and manufacturing.
