Keele University offers a course in Sports Business Management aimed at equipping students with prodigious knowledge and skills needed to manage sporting clubs and institutions. The course imparts an understanding of sports, marketing, finance, and management, whilst providing opportunity to gain practical entrepreneurial skills. Course Content: The course provides learning in critical thinking and decision-making abilities along with specialized knowledge in sports marketing, finance, and project management. It also integrates insightful knowledge into sports law, policy, and governance. The curriculum includes a dissertation that is to be undertaken over the summer.Key Modules: Core modules studied in this course encompass the Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, Financial Analysis and Decision Making, Strategic Management in Sports and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, among others.
