The Philosophy and Psychology dual honors program at Keele University fosters innovative and critical thinking, whilst promoting a greater understanding of the human experience. The program provides a balanced combination of both disciplines, allowing students to delve into enquiries about reality, knowledge, ethics, and the human mind.Course Content: The program allows students to explore philosophical ideas and controversies from different cultures and periods. Students study core themes including reasoning, ethics and ideas about the self. The psychology course content, accredited by the British Psychological Society, covers areas of psychology that includes cognitive, social, developmental, clinical, health and forensic psychology. Throughout the course, students are also exposed to statistical tests and mathematics.Key Modules: Key modules in Philosophy include Metaphysics, Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Science, and Ethics.
