The Neuroscience with Psychology undergraduate course at Keele University offers an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complex functions of the brain and mind. The course combines subjects from biologically-oriented neuroscience to the study of human behavior and thought in psychology.Course Content: The program provides a broad foundation in the nature of life from the sub-cellular, through to organism and population levels in the first year. Students learn about global issues from climate change to antibiotic resistance. In the subsequent years, studies level up to understand the human body, address issues concerning health and disease, developmental biology and immune responses.Key Modules: Core modules include Biological Psychology, Introduction to Neuroscience, Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, Behavioural Neuroscience, Consciousness and Cognition, and Sensation and Perception. Optional modules diversify from Forensic Psychology, Biomedical Ethics, to Health Psychology.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), providing the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.
