The Strength, Conditioning and Performance Science MSc at Canterbury Christ Church University is a full-time and part-time program designed to support practicing strength and conditioning coaches or those wishing to engage in a career in strength and conditioning. This course provides an evidence-based approach towards understanding the theoretical and practical aspects of strength, conditioning, and performance science. Course Content: The course emphasizes the use of contemporary and emerging technologies in the field of strength, conditioning, and performance science. Students will deepen their knowledge of the biomechanical and physiological demands of exercise and sport. They will learn to apply this knowledge to athletic capacity improvement. There is a strong focus on the practical application of scientific knowledge. Key Modules: Modules may include Performance Physiology, Nutrition for Health and Enhancing Athletic Performance, Movement and Performance Analysis, and Strength and Conditioning in Practice. There's also an independent research project in Strength, Conditioning and Performance Science. Accreditations: This course is accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
