The Physician Associate Studies course offered at Canterbury Christ Church University is a two-year full-time program that prepares students for a career as a Physician Associate in the National Health Service (NHS). The program is structured to provide a broad knowledge of the principles and practices required for safe, patient-centered clinical decision-making, intervention and care.Course Content: The course curriculum is divided into four main content areas: Medical Science, Clinical and Communication Skills, Personal and Professional Development, and Clinical Reasoning and Decision-Making. The course includes a mixture of clinical placement and campus-based teaching. The students, under supervision, will also be involved in direct patient care in various placements.
