LL.B. Law with History

The Law with History course offered by Canterbury Christ Church University is a specialized, three-year program that equips students with legal knowledge and historical insights. The course will help lay the foundation of legal principles while gaining an understanding of key areas of English, European and World History.Course Content: This innovative course combines the in-depth study of Law and History. In Law, you will engage with the fundamental principles of justice, looking at institutions and practices. While in History, you will learn about different societies, cultures and the changes in these over time from professional historians. Key Modules: Key Law modules include Contract Law, Criminal Law, EU Law, and Land Law. Key History modules include Reformation and Revolution, War and Diplomacy, and British Imperialism. Accreditations: On successful completion of the qualifying law degrees, you are eligible to progress onto the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) if you seek to qualify as a solicitor or barrister.Future Careers: This course prepares you for a range of career opportunities.
