MSc Manufacturing Management

The Manufacturing Management MSc program at the University of Hertfordshire is an 18-month course designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage and lead change in a manufacturing environment. The course places a strong emphasis on process analysis, lean thinking, and problem-solving techniques.Course Content: The areas covered by the program include Lean process improvement, Six Sigma, business analysis, project management, logistics and supply chain management, environmental management, sustainability, and responsible manufacturing. Key Modules: Some of the core modules of the program include Manufacturing Strategy, Lean Operations, Supply Chain Management, Research Methods, and the Manufacturing Management Project. There are two possible electives that students can choose from: Innovation Management or Sustainable and Responsible Manufacturing.Accreditations: The program holds accreditation by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
