The MPhys (Hons) Astrophysics with Space Science is a full-time, undergraduate course offered by the University of Hertfordshire. The programme is designed for students who want to gain in-depth knowledge and research skills in the field of space science and astrophysics. Course Content: The course covers a wide range of topics in the field of astrophysics including stellar structure and evolution, galaxies, cosmology and space science. It includes a significant amount of practical work and project work, allowing students to develop the tools necessary for astrophysical research. An optional sandwich year in the industry or study abroad is also available to students. Key Modules: The key modules of the course include mathematics for physicists, introduction to astronomy, electromagnetic theory, quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, space systems and operations, stars and galaxies, and cosmology.
