MEng Hons. Aerospace Engineering

The MEng Aerospace Engineering offered by the University of Hertfordshire is a high-quality, integrated program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter into the Aerospace Industry. The course is designed to cover all aspects of the field, including design, analysis, testing, and operation of aeronautic and astronautic vehicles.Course Content: The course is divided into two parts: the first two years are general to all Aerospace Engineering students and cover the fundamentals of engineering science, design, and project work. From the third year onwards, students will specialize in their chosen field within Aerospace Engineering, and student teams will work on an aircraft or spacecraft design project. Yearly individual project work from year two onwards is the key feature of MEng programme.Key Modules: Some of the modules will include Introduction to Aerospace, Propulsion, Aerodynamics, Engineering Mathematics, Analytical Methods, Aerospace Design Studies, and Materials and Manufacturing for Engineers. Accreditations: The Aerospace Engineering course at the University of Hertfordshire is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer when presented with an accredited MSc.
