The BSc (Hons) Geography course at the University of Hertfordshire is designed to provide students with an extensive overview of the varying landscapes, natural environments, and communities that exist on Earth. It includes both the option for studying abroad and options to specialize in specific geographical areas. Course Content: The course covers a diverse array of relevant geographical topics, equipping students with fundamental knowledge of both physical and human geography. It allows them to understand the interactions between people and their environment, and the challenges these relationships present. Key Modules: Some of the key modules that students will engage in include 'Earth Systems and Processes', 'People and Places', 'Research and Field Techniques in Geography' and 'Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing'. As students progress, they also get to choose between specialist modules, from climate change science to urban development, and from heritage and landscape to environmental impact assessment.Accreditations: This programme has been accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).
