The BEng (Hons) Robotics and Artificial Intelligence offered by the University of Hertfordshire is a full-time, undergraduate course designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and understanding of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). As a cutting-edge discipline, this course combines elements of computer science, engineering and mathematics to give students a broad understanding of robotic systems and AI technology which are integral to a range of industries today.Course Content: This programme consists of intensive lectures, technical presentations, lab-based practical sessions and project work that aims to provide students with thorough knowledge about the fundamental concepts and recent advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence. Some of the key subject areas covered include computer networks, control systems, engineering mathematics, software engineering, embedded systems, autonomous systems, robotics technology, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.Key Modules: Core modules students will study include Digital Systems and Microprocessors, Engineering Research Project, Mechanics of Solids, Mathematics, Technological Systems, Engineering Development, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, and Artificial Intelligence.
