The course also dives into digital investigations, highlighting the importance of technology in modern forensics.Key Modules: The course encompasses a range of modules, including: Foundations of Forensic Science: Student will learn about basic forensic concepts, including evidence, and legal and ethical issues in the forensic field. Criminalistic Science: This module covers crime scene management, digital investigation, and forensic testing applications. Forensic Chemistry: This focuses on how chemical analysis can identify substances and materials crucial for investigations. Forensic Biology: Students learn to identify forensic evidence such as blood and other bodily fluids, DNA, hair and fiber samples. Law: This module covers general legal procedures and specific laws related to the field of forensics.
