This integrated programme is designed to prepare and support you for a career in marketing and related business roles. From the moment you enrol, you will begin developing the knowledge, skills and commercial awareness needed to understand how organisations engage with customers and respond to market opportunities. In the first year, you will build a strong foundation for studying at university level. You will develop key academic and professional skills such as communication, numeracy, critical thinking and independent learning, while exploring contemporary issues affecting organisations and the global economy. Through project work and practical activities, you will begin to analyse markets, understand customer behaviour and develop your problem-solving skills. As you progress, you will explore marketing in greater depth, including areas such as consumer behaviour, digital marketing, branding and market research. You will develop your ability to create and evaluate marketing strategies in a range of contexts. The programme prepares you for careers in marketing, advertising, digital media and related fields. In the first year of the programme, you will build a strong foundation for studying marketing. You will develop key academic and professional skills while exploring how organisations communicate with customers. Through project work and practical activities, you will develop confidence in analysing markets and understanding customer behaviour. The programme uses a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars and workshops, where you will explore marketing concepts and apply them to real-world examples, including case studies and campaign scenarios. You will be supported to develop your academic skills and approach to learning. As you progress, you will explore marketing in greater depth, developing your ability to design campaigns, analyse consumer data and evaluate marketing performance.
