This integrated programme is designed to prepare and support you for a career in finance, business analytics and data-driven decision-making. From the moment you enrol, you will begin developing the knowledge and skills needed to understand how data and financial information are used within organisations. In the first year, you will build a strong foundation for studying at university level. You will develop key academic and professional skills such as communication, numeracy, critical thinking and independent learning, while exploring contemporary issues affecting organisations and the global economy. Through project work and practical activities, you will begin to analyse data, identify patterns and develop your problem-solving skills. As you progress, you will explore finance and business analytics in greater depth, including areas such as financial management, investment and data analytics. You will develop your ability to work with data, interpret results and support decision-making in complex environments. The programme prepares you for careers in financial analysis, business analytics, consultancy and related fields. In the first year of the programme, you will build a strong foundation for studying finance and analytics at university level. You will develop key academic and professional skills such as numeracy, communication, critical thinking and independent learning, while being introduced to how data and financial information are used in organisations. Through project work and practical activities, you will develop confidence in data analysis, interpretation and problem-solving. The programme uses a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars and workshops, where you will explore key concepts and apply them to real-world examples, including data-driven scenarios and case studies. You will be supported to develop your academic skills and approach to learning. As you progress, you will explore finance and analytics in greater depth, developing your ability to analyse datasets, evaluate trends and support strategic decision-making.
