The BSc (Hons) Ecology and Conservation Study Abroad course offered by Lancaster University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of ecology and conservation. The course aims to equip students with the knowledge and understanding of biodiversity and the threats it faces, the principles of habitat management, and the response of different organisms to environmental change. It also includes a year of study in a partner university abroad to gain firsthand international fieldwork experience. Course Content: This four-year course covers topics such as Biological Molecules, Ecology, and Plant Physiology. Students also engage in field courses, data workshops, and research projects, while also having the opportunity to study broad topics such as Animal Behaviour, Biodiversity Conservation and Environmental Change.Key Modules: Key modules include 'Behaviour of Organisms' and 'Principles of Ecology' in the first year, 'Ecological Research Methods' and 'Principles of Biological Diversity' in the second year. During the third term of the second year and the first term of the final year, students study in a foreign university.
