The Journalism, Communications and Politics undergraduate course at Cardiff University offers students a chance to explore the relationships between media, politics and power. Course Content: The course offers a multitude of subjects ranging from news journalism, media law, political communication to digital cultures. It takes students through the theoretical, historical and policy debates which shape the practices of journalism, communications and politics, and helps them to develop some practical skills and insights. Students will be challenged to reflect on their own practices, as well as contemporary debates about the role of media and communications in a digital age.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Critical Reading and Writing, Making the News, Media Law, Public Affairs, Digital Journalists, and Political Communication.
