MMath (Hons) Maths and Computer Science (with a year in industry)

The MMATH Mathematics with Computer Science with a Year in Industry course offered by the University of York is a four-year program that provides a balance between a specialized program of study and the flexibility to explore aspects of Mathematics and Computer Science that interest you. It includes a year of professional experience in industry, enabling you to apply your learning, develop professional skills, and enhance your employability.Course Content: In the first year, students are introduced to a variety of topics in both mathematics and computer science. Second year provides more focus on these two subjects, with half of the modules in mathematics and half in computer science. After this, students spend the third year on a placement in industry. In the final year, the course allows students to specialize further in areas like mathematics, computer science, or a combination of both.
