The MEng Computer Science with a Year in Industry course offered by the University of York is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to excel in the computer science industry. It intertwines the theoretical elements of computer science with practical, industry-based learning. This four-year course includes a year in industry, allowing students to gain real-world experience, which is often highly sought after by employers. Course Content: The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of computer science, with students getting the opportunity to undertake substantial projects, often in connection with external businesses or organizations.
