BASc Global Challenges (Planetary Health)

The Global Challenges: Planetary Health BA/BSc course offered by Brunel University is an interdisciplinary programme designed to educate future advocates for the well-being of our planet. The course covers an expansive curriculum, including the natural and social sciences, the arts, and humanities, allowing students to approach planetary health from a multidisciplinary perspective.Course Content: The course material spans topics such as climate change, pollution and waste, reduction of biodiversity, and the availability and quality of water, food, and energy. Students will have the opportunity to undertake a placement year, applying their theoretical understanding of planetary health to real-world situations to gain invaluable industry-related experience.Key Modules: The course incorporates modules including Our Dynamic Planet, Governing the Anthropocene, Sustainability and Well-being, and Understanding Climate Change, among others.Future Careers: Graduates of this course may go on to work in various planetary health and sustainability related fields.
