The University of Hertfordshire offers a four-year full-time undergraduate course in Computer Science. The course aims to teach students about the intricacies of technology, while developing their analytical, problem-solving skills and hands-on programming experience. Students will gain comprehensive knowledge of computing technologies and methodologies at a professional level.Course Content: The course focuses on core computing topics such as programming, data structures, computer systems, software engineering and research methods. It offers exposure to a variety of programming languages like Java, C, and Python. Additionally, students will work on a research-informed, industry-relevant group project in their second year, and a major individual project in their final year. Accreditations: The course, BSc (Hons) Computer Science, is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT. On successful completion of the course, students will meet the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.
